The Montana Public Health Workforce Development Group recently revised and updated the State's Public Health Workforce Development Plan (attached). Data from the 2022 Montana Public Health Workforce Assessment was analyzed to identify and inform the priority core competencies and activities outlined in this plan. The goal of the plan and its implementation serves to address current workforce needs by identifying knowledge and skills gaps and developing targeted training, education, and other professional development programs.
