The CDC's Public Health Associate Program (PHAP) will be accepting host site applications from February 15-29, 2024. PHAP is a two-year program for early career public health professionals to gain experience working at a local, state, tribal, or territorial health jurisdiction or public health nonprofit. CDC fully funds these positions, so this is a great opportunity for health departments to increase their capacity and complete projects.
CDC is hosting a webinar on February 8th from 11am-12pm MST specifically for rural health departments that are interested in learning about PHAP. Register for the webinar here.
