Training Description: As substance use prevention professionals, we regularly face situations that require us to make ethical decisions. Often it is clear how to act ethically; sometimes it is not. This moderated course explores the six principles of Prevention Code of Ethics, and introduces a four-step decision-making process to help practitioners apply this code to a variety of ethical dilemmas. Participants will be expected to complete pre-course work and engage in online discussion and group work.
-This course meets the criteria from the Montana Prevention Certification Board for the Ethics in Prevention credentialing requirement.
