The Foundational Interview Skills training is an interactive, half-day virtual course intended for professionals working with communicable disease interviewing. The first half of the training will include breaking into groups for an interview skills practice session and a presentation on interview skills and techniques. The second half of the training will include a second interview skills practice session. All activities will be discussed as a large group and participants will receive mentoring and advice from facilitators and peers throughout the training.
This virtual workshop will enable participants to:
- Practice interviewing skills and learn new techniques.
- Develop enhanced listening skills.
- Problem solve common interviewing challenges.
- Practice completing investigation forms
When: December 4, 2023 from 9am - 1:30pm (Lunch break from 11:15 - 11:45)
