This training will give participants an opportunity to learn more about a Health in All
Policies approach at the local level. Specifically, we will discuss the five key elements of a
HiAP approach. Once we understand the framework well, we will look at five promising
strategies for implementing HiAP initiatives at the local level. Participants will have an
opportunity to apply these strategies to a local issue of their choosing during the webinar.
The goal is for participants to create an outline of how to potentially implement a HiAP
strategy for an important issue in their community.
