Does the thought of grant writing intimidate you? Or just make you want to run for the hills? In this workshop, veteran grant writer Katie Loveland will share tools to take the pain out of grant writing and equip you to develop compelling grant proposals to fund your public health program. Participants will learn how to identify funding opportunities, craft persuasive narratives, structure budgets, and align proposals with funder priorities.

Our objectives include:

  • Enhance Understanding: Participants will increase their capacity to identify funding opportunities and understand funder expectations.
  • Improve Writing Skills: Participants will demonstrate skills to craft clear, persuasive, and data-driven proposals.
  • Strengthen Proposal Structure: Participants will increase their ability to structure key sections of a grant proposal, such as need statements, work plans, budgets, and evaluation plans.
  • Boost Confidence: Attendees will be empowered with practical tools and best practices to successfully secure funding for public health initiatives.
