WHAT TO EXPECT

In this 3-hour skill building workshop, public health professionals will discover how systems thinking can transform their work. Through practical approaches and interactive, small-group activities this workshop aims to empower public health professionals to apply systems thinking tools and insights needed to navigate and address multifaceted complex challenges.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Explain why systems thinking is critical in public health work.
  2. Apply a systems view lens to dissect  and  understand the complexities of public health problems.
  3. Collaborate with diverse partners to create a shared vision for addressing public health challenges.
  4. Identify areas that have the potential to create positive system change at a root cause level
